Usually approvals for phone verification are done fast, but yes, they can take up to 24 hours.

I was surprised about how fast it verified for me. I called at like 10 PM last night and it verified overnight.

If you called 7 hours ago, and your account isnt active, something went wrong.

I rechecked the account and there is no message from your phone number on file. Perhaps you should call again, as all accounts were verifed as of 6pm EST.
